With the good weather, the plants in my conservatory are growing almost visibly. Many of the cacti have started flowering. Here they are:
Epiphyllum
Most of the year this is a very ugly straggling plant but this spring it suddenly produced enormous flowers.
Cactus Garden
The cactus garden is quite colourful. I think the red and white flowering ones are Mammillaria. They are quite difficult to identify exactly. The central spiny one is very old and up till this year has done very little. However, it now has grey buds on it. It may be Lemon cactus; I am awaiting yellow flowers.
Other plants are doing their thing too. In this lockdown, my plants are giving me a great deal of pleasure, but no-one is allowed in to see them. So I thought I’d share them here.
